Our commitment to DEI is grounded in the belief that every member of our community deserves respect, representation, and the opportunity to succeed.
Our Mission
At NOCCCD, we are dedicated to creating a campus culture that embraces diversity in all its forms. We recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds that each individual brings to our community. Our mission is to cultivate an inclusive and equitable environment that encourages dialogue, challenges biases, and celebrates the richness of our differences.
Why Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Matters
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are more than just buzzwords to us. They are the cornerstones of a thriving educational institution. By fostering a diverse community, we enrich the learning experience and prepare our students to thrive in an increasingly globalized world. Equity ensures that everyone has fair access to resources and opportunities, regardless of their background, and inclusion guarantees that all voices are heard and valued. This is aligned with Board Policy 7100: Commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity.
