Educational and Facilities Master Plan Refresh
The Educational and Facilities Master Plan Refresh is a strategic update of the original 2020 plan created by the North Orange County Community College District. This refresh aims to realign the plan with current and future needs through 2030 by addressing changes in educational delivery methods, such as remote and hybrid learning, and adapting to evolving societal and community demands.

Environmental Health and Safety
The District Manager of Environmental Health and Safety is responsible for implementing the District-wide safety program. Responsibilities include coordinating safety trainings for employees, participating in campus safety meetings, conducting site inspections, developing procedures to minimize toxic chemical exposure, and working with government agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA).

Ergonomics
The purpose of NOCCCD’s ergonomics program is to identify and eliminate potential work related musculoskeletal disorder (WMSD) hazards in order to prevent employee injury.

Facilities Master Plans
The District makes available facilities master plans for all of its campuses. These plans are periodically updated and show the vision, strategies, concepts for future growth.

Five Year Capital Outlay Plan
FUSION (Facilities Utilization, Space Inventory Options Net) is a database of over 90 million square feet of California Community College facilities that tracks the condition assessments and develops cost modeling for maintenance projects, enabling colleges to plan budgets and help facilitate the passing of much-needed state bond measures.

Property and Liability Insurance Program
NOCCCD is self-insured against property loss and liability claims through a Joint Powers of Authority, Alliance of Schools for Cooperative Insurance Programs (ASCIP). Claims against the District must be presented on the District Claim form. Small, minor property claims are handled in-house, using the Property Claim Release forms. Both forms are available via myGateway.
