The District’s Black Faculty & Staff Association (BFSA) & Classified Senate at Cypress College are happy to announce their Women’s History Month event taking place at Cypress College. All NOCCCD employees are invited!
P3 honors the leaders who show up, speak out, and drive change. Join the BFSA for a transformative session to embrace your strengths and lead boldly. This session will cover:
- How to lead authentically and leverage your lived experiences
- How to shift from perfectionism to proactive leadership
- What it takes to foster collaborative, inclusive environments
- How to advocate for equitable policies and practices
Anissa Mitchell will be the guest speaker for this event in honor of Women's History Month. Mitchell is the Student Success & Equity Coordinator at Barstow Community College and the CSEA Chapter 176 President. The BFSA is open to every employee in the District regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. If you have an interest in promoting diversity and equity on your campus of within the District, our association offers you an excellent opportunity to get involved and make a difference.
