Mass mailings (referred to as “bulk mailing’) to students or the community can qualify for substantial postal discounts if the correct postal regulations are followed.
Bulk mailings must be a minimum of 200 addresses. Your mailing list should be submitted to us in an Excel format with each name, address, city, state, zip in its own field.
First Name | Last Name | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Taylor | Kelce | 1300 Kansas Blvd. | Kansas City | KS | 90010 |
Chandler | Bing | 15 Yemen St. | Yemen | CA | 90702 |
Donna | Martin | 105 Doheny | Beverly Hills | CA | 90210 |
Luke | Spencer | 3530 Oak St. | Port Charles | NY | 10012 |
Mailings cannot, in most cases, be personalized. The information must be generic in nature. There are also design, paper, finishing and size parameters that must be followed. We are always available to design an eye-catching piece or review your design with you to ensure you receive the maximum discount.
Contact us and we will be happy to review your project with you to determine the most effective way to print. Often, a simple change to size or paper can save you money.
Proofread, proofread, proofread, and proofread again! Save yourself from costly reprints by carefully reviewing your project. Ask a colleague to review as well. A different set of eyes can catch a mistake you have overlooked. We do our best to catch glaring errors, but unfortunately do not have the time to read over every project.
If setting up your own project using Canva, please refer to this guide for the correct way to submit your file for print.
Review the style guidelines for your campus. This will assist you in making sure your project utilizes proper logos, taglines, colors, etc. Anything we deem outside of design standards, we may call upon the appropriate Campus Communications officer to review prior to printing.
