OCTA Bus Pass Program
The District partners with OCTA (Orange County Transit Authority) as part of their Community College Pass program. This program lets full and part-time students at Cypress College and Fullerton College ride for free on any OC fixed bus route.
This program gives students access to safe, clean, air-conditioned transportation without the expense or hassles of parking, and it contributes to a cleaner, healthier environment. Access is unlimited so students can ride to and from school, work, and leisure activities.
The Community College Pass serves nine Orange County colleges. Andrew Do, Chairman of the OCTA in 2021 described the program as one of OCTA's most successful transit intitiatives, saying, “It introduces students to the convenience and benefits of public transit. At the same time, it knocks down a key barrier – the high cost of transportation – that can prevent students from achieving their dreams.”
