Donivan Howard is a Professor in the Art department at Cypress College and an award-winning illustrator and visual artist. His work encompasses entertainment art, illustration, and fine art, and has been shown in galleries and museums across the country. His work appears in Disney films such as Treasure Planet, The Emperor's New Groove, and Fantasia 2000. He is skilled in art directing equitable and diverse creations as founding creator of Navinod Creations LLC.

Nzuji De Magalhaes, Cypress College Studio Art Adjunct professor, was born and raised in Angola. Although she was taught the basic technique of drawing, painting, and design in California, she learned to add materials to her work. She meticulously combined both art forms to convey the issues of stereotypes, ethnicity, and politics. she uses fabrics, sand, beads, and yarn above an oil-painted background. Of the many mixed media art pieces that she exhibited, the most notable is the eight panels currently displayed at the Bundy and Exposition Metro line.
