At conferences in spring 2019, state and national community college marketing and public relations organizations recognized work produced by the District Office of Public and Governmental Affairs. The District received four awards ranging from bronze to gold in the categories of annual report, brochure, college promotional video, and direct mailer/postcard/flyer from the Community College Public Relations Organization (CCPRO). Communications Coordinator Chelsea Salisbury accepted the awards on the Department's behalf at the 2019 CCPRO Conference in San Diego, CA. The District also earned a bronze award in the category of promotional brand video (long form) from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR).
