We are happy to provide you with these free and valuable campus services to make life easier while on the go! You can download the app for the school you are attending and for the smart phone you are using, Android, iPhone/iPod, and iPad.
*Due to the lack of demand for Blackberry applications only the 1.0 version is available. Not all of the 1.1 features are available in the 1.0 version.
NEWS
Keep up on news and publicity for your school. You will link to real time news feeds that are supported by the Public Information Office of your campus.
Class Schedule
View the on-line catalog of classes being offered for multiple terms including credit/non-credit course offerings, dates, meeting times, and locations.
Grades
Retrieve your final grades and final grade history for multiple terms.
Daily Course Schedule
Never miss a class again. Review the courses you are registered for in the current term.
Campus Maps
This nifty little feature will display a map of your campus including such fine details as building number, restrooms, student parking, etc. Click the pin for specific information.
Staff Directory
View your professor's office phone number and e-mail address instantly. In fact, you can find contact information in a minute for all staff and departments: Professors as well as admissions office, financial aid, academics, administrative services, and much more...
Transit
This handy feature will insure you never get lost again. It recognizes your current location and time of day via GPS, then maps the best transit route. You can get directions for walking, driving, bus, or train and see step by step instructions on how to get to your campus. Directions include mileage, cost, and travel time from your current location to school.
What’s new in version 1.1?
- Improved User Interface - The new interface allows users to view features in a list view or in an icon view. Transitions from one screen to the next are smoother and cleaner than in the 1.0 application.
- Class Schedule - Students have the ability to search for courses and filter courses by campus, term, and type of course (all, hybrid, online, teleweb, or late start). Students can search by instructor, course title, or subject.
- Staff Directory - The addition of all campuses and district information and an improved search and display of contact information. You will also find a new tab view to select contact information for any of the campuses or the district.
- Campus Maps - Campus maps now include maps for each NOCCCD institutions with a new tab view to select any of the campus maps.
- Events - The new events feature displays important information by date for a number of events such as the start of registration, end of terms, holidays, and more.
- News - News contains content from the campus newspapers (The Chronicle and The Hornet) in addition to the content provided by each of the campuses. This provides the ability to search content by keywords, date range, and content provider (The Chronicle, The Hornet, Cypress, Fullerton, SCE).
- Financial Aid - This new feature allows students to select financial aid year and view the aid awarded for that year.
- Grades - We have added the ability to select grades by term. Students can select the term by clicking on the current term. Next, a selection of terms will appear. Then click the term to display grades.
- Holds - students can view any registration holds that might stop them from registering for courses. Holds provides a brief explanation for the reason(s) of the registration hold.
- Student’s Schedule - students can view their course schedule by selecting a date. The building and room number have been added to the information displayed by the schedule.
- Transit - The latest version of this feature use the new Google Transit API to provide public transportation, driving, walking, or cycling instructions to the student’s campus.
