In addition to the community North Orange Promise Scholars program, NOCCCD, Cypress College, and Fullerton College have partnered with local high school districts to establish a comprehensive educational program that services current high school students through graduation until they transition into the North Orange Promise. These high school collaborations focus on guiding and supporting students with their A - G requirements through dual enrollment programs, helping students prepare for college coursework and earn college credit towards their Associate and Bachelor degrees. These partnerships also include career exploration programs and internships, allowing students the opportunity to gain valuable skill sets and earn certifications towards a high demand profession.
The Anaheim Union Educational Pledge (a.k.a Anaheim Pledge) is a program designed to transform the lives of students through education and economic advancement. This new program guarantees all eligible Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) graduates two years of free tuition to attend their freshman year at Cypress College, Fullerton College, or North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE). Conceived over four years and developed out of the Anaheim Collaborative, the Anaheim Pledge is a dynamic partnership between AUHSD, Cypress College, Fullerton College, North Orange Continuing Education, California State University-Fullerton, University of California-Irvine, the Orange County United Way, and the City of Anaheim designed to create unique opportunities for student success.
Fullerton Joint Union High School District is our newest member to join our North Orange Promise program with the introduction of the Fullerton Educational Partnership effective with the 2019 graduating class. This recent collaboration offers benefits for students who graduate from any of the FJUHSD high schools to receive two free years of tuition and student health fees at Fullerton College, Cypress College, and NOCE. The partnership also includes participation in the Admissions Advantage for California State University-Fullerton.
